Hey my lovelies,
It’s Sunday, so that means it’s time for a Double Vision post again. In this challenge my amazing friend Dani and I are choosing a theme, item, movie character.. whatever we come up with basically, and style those our own way and post at the same time, more about the challenge here. We kind of chose this week’s challenge together, since I bought these awesome sequin collars for both of us, and Dani said that we should wear them this week.
I wore the collar with my beloved ASOS puffball skirt and my new Dorothy Perkins jumper. I love the PU-details in the sleeves, and this jumper will surely be one of my faves this winter. I also went to my flatmate’s purse collection and borrowed this patent clutch, since it goes well with the shoes. Haha, I love living with two other girls.. I mean they are waaaaaaay smaller than me, but I can still borrow their accessories ;).

Collar: Matalan (similar) | Jumper: 22, Dorothy Perkins | Skirt: 22, ASOS (didn’t find a puffball, but this one would look great too) | Leggins: 20, Primark | Heels: Evans (similar) | Clutch: Next (similar) | Headband: George at ASDA (similar) | Glasses: LensWay (similar) | Lippy: Accessorize, Coral Crush With Love
I love these fashion collars, they can make any outfit look different, in this case more glam. Have you worn them? What type is your favourite? I wonder what Dani did with hers.. let’s go to DIY Fatshion to see!

You look very chic. That skirt…there are no words. And the sweater…I was this close to ordering it. I just didn’t know if it would fit me because I’m really one size bigger than Dorothy Perkins’ largest size and it’s too much money to risk.
Although I love sequins on others, it’s just not very me. So, a few weeks ago I ordered a crocheted lace peter pan collar from etsy. I love being able to give a nod to the trend but still keep it me. I have yet to find the right outfit for it though.
Thank you Noelle :). <3
And yeah, sequins were never really something that I wanted to wear, but I’ve completely changed my mind during these past few months, LOL :D
Oh wow, I love that collar! You look so effortlessly chic!
Thanks so much Louise :) x
I really love this outfit on you! It’s really cute and very pretty :)
Thanks Alex :) xx
I love the monochromeness of this outfit. And I especially love your lippy – such a good colour on you!
Thank you Amy :). Ooooh, this totally is my fave lippy! I found it when shopping with Lauren (Pocket Rocket) – she’s the reason why I have it :D! x
The first thing I thought of when I saw this was it reminds me of a ladies tuxedo. I think there is something really chic in the fact you paired black and white together and of course the gorgeous collar!
Thanks lovely lady :). Yeah I love black and white together! xx
Looking gorgeous, babe! :D The collar goes perfectly with your outfit, and the top is amazing. BTW, I’m so loving doing this challenge with you, thanks for being an awesome friend. <3
Thanks babe <3. And right back at you girl, I’m loving this SO MUCH! xx
I love it! :D Makes me feel like I really need a collar.
Thanks :)! Yeah sequin collars for the win! x
