Hey lovelies,
It’s Sunday, and it’s Double Vision time again! In this challenge my amazing friend Dani and I are choosing a theme, item, movie character.. whatever we come up with basically, and style those our own way and post at the same time, more about the challenge here. This week’s theme was chosen by me, and I chose ‘Double denim’.
Double denim is something that I have been a bit afraid to try, but as one point of blog challenges is to push each other to try new things etc, I really wanted to go with it. And it turned up to be pretty good, or what do you think? This outfit definitely shows that right accessories can make a ‘meh’ outfit FAB :)!

Shirt: 26, ASOS Curve (similar at New Look, similar at Forever 21+, similar at Very) | Jeggings: 22, South – via Becky‘s blogsale (similar at Evans) | Heels: Primark (toe cap heels at ASOS: 1, 2, 3, at New Look, at Evans) | Clutch: Primark (similar at ASOS, similar at New Look) | Necklace: Evans | Bangles: Evans (similar at Evans) | Glasses*: Four Eyes Fashion | Lippy: Natural Collection Moisture Shine in Rose Bud – available in Boots (similar by MAC)
I really think that double denim can work after all! Have you been afraid of it? Go ahead and try, and tweet/email me a pic – I’m very interested in seeing the looks you come up with :)! But before that, let’s go to DIY Fatshion and see how my fab friend Dani tackled this challenge…

I can’t believe those are jeggings!
You look great :)

I am terrified of double denim too. But I have the Midwest syndrome working against me. Anything I wear instantly looks tackier than it would look on someone else just because I’m from wisconsin. I could put on the exact same denim on denim outfit as a model in a fashion ad and it would look gorgeous and chic on the model. On me, it would suddenly look like a denim disaster. Think 90′s mom in a bedazzled denim vest and skirt combo with cat appliqués and sensible shoes.
I swear this is a real thing!
But, you look adorable! Trying something new paid off for you :)
