Hello lovies,
Do you remember the preview post I did on IGIGI‘s Discovering Fall 13-collection? (If not, it is here.) There is so much gorgeousness in that collection, and I was excited when they asked if I’d want to have a few pieces. I chose Veronetta Cardigan in Onyx and Shura Draped Skirt in Black, and I wasn’t disappointed. The cardigan feels so luxurious, and the skirt is possibly the comfiest thing I’ve ever worn! I know that IGIGI is usually more glam than casual brand, but I can’t wait to wear the cardigan with jeans, and the skirt with a sweater, just to make casual outfits a bit more flashy :). In this post I wore them with pleather crop top, striped shirt and platform ankle boots – what do you think?
Woohoo! It’s totally the Christmas season here at the blog.. already had a few giveaways, AND now I have another one for you. IGIGI kindly gave me a $75 gift voucher to give away, which is enough to get this amazing skirt for example! To enter just fill in the Rafflecopter at the bottom of the post, and leave me a comment saying what you’d want to spend the $75 on :)! (Giveaway is open internationally.)
Psst. If you don’t want to wait for the giveaway to end to order, you can get up to 70% off in their Thanksgiving sale with code ‘CYBERSALE13′ – and they have free US shipping and 50% off international shipping until the end of the year!!
Heippa!
Muistatteko postaukseni IGIGI:n Discoverin Fall 2013-mallistosta?
Hello my lovelies,
Have you ever ordered from Yours Clothing? Maybe you haven’t even heard of them? They are an UK based plus-size retailer, and they ship internationally. The list of countries and delivery prices can be seen here (and no bigger delivery costs than £10). So yes, you should definitely check them out if you haven’t already – and I have a great discount code to all new customers, UK or international. Use code ‘BLOGGER12‘ to get £10 off purchases of £20 or over.
Here’s an outfit that is definitely on my wishlist:
Heippa!
Olettekos koskaan tilanneet Yours Clothingilta?
]]>Summer is *finally* here, which means we have garden/outside parties to go to.. I have my dad’s 60th party back in Finland in August, and when I saw this gorgeous new dress at Simply Be, I knew I wanted to try an build a party outfit around it. I think this dress can easily be dressed up or down, and I wanted to look for items that are great for a big party, and not too relaxed. Sadly heels are not good for garden parties, obviously, but I think the pieces I found are nice and dressy enough :)
Isn’t the dress amazing? Simply Be have so much lovely stuff at the moment, and even better, netvouchercodes.co.uk has great voucher codes and deals for them! The most awesome one is for 20% off if you spend more than £60 - so time to get that summery party outfit for a bargain price :)!
If you have followed my blog for a while, I’m sure you know that I love bargains and voucher codes. A while ago I came across a site that I haven’t heard of before, My Favourite Voucher Codes, and they are a bit different to what I have seen on other sites, which is definitely refreshing.
They have an amazing app that you can install to Firefox or Chrome, and it sits on the top right of your browser window. And why is it so amazing? Well when you are on some online shop’s site, the app will automatically show you how many codes there are available for that retailer. That definitely makes it easier to remember to use a code and save some money (possibly for extra purchases if you are the same kind of a shopper than me… haha).
I was searching amongst the hundreds of retailers for some voucher codes that would interest me (and you my readers), and found some great ones. I have found an Evans voucher code that saves 20% off shoes…. and they have FAB shoes this summer. Here are my favourite picks from their current shoe collection.
Those mint sandals and wedges.. LOOOOOVE, serious LOVE. I actually have 3 pairs of these already (monochrome flatforms, and the two black heels in the bottom corner), but yeah, I’m sure at least 3 more pairs will find their way to my shoe collection.. and with 20% off, it’s ok, isn’t it? ;)
I have also found this great AX Paris voucher code that saves you 20% off your first order. Now I can’t use this myself since I have ordered from them before, but if you haven’t – take this chance! My favourite pics from their Curve range would be these.
I absolutely adore that PU skirt. I have seen it on a few fabulous bloggers, like Becky. Gorgeous skirt! The disco leggings are funky, and would look great with that long floral top for example. Sigh, now I really wish that I could use this discount myself!
But yes, there’s one more thing that I want to tell you about. When you use codes from My Favourite Voucher Codes you get money off your shopping, but they also get a small amount themselves when you use their codes. BUT what makes them different is that they donate 20% of their net earnings to charity. They have a poll on the right sidebar of their site, and each month the visitors can choose the charity where this 20% goes to. I really love this fact about the site – it definitely makes them different.
I’ve actually enjoyed doing these wishlist-posts, gives me a chance to see what’s new in the stores and also daydream about nice outfits :). Since we have seen a few beautiful spring days already, for this post I went to Very and Boden, and I built two outfits that I’d LOVE to wear this spring.
This first outfit is more casual, perfect for a Sunday spent shopping and people watching at a cafe or a beer garden. I’m especially in love with these wedges from Boden, WANT.
This second outfit is a bit more fancy, but the denim jacket and flats mean that it works great both at the office and for drinks date in the evening. I have seen jewel prints popping up in various stores, and this So Fabulous dress is my favourite from them, it has such a gorgeous print.
I saw so many lovely things while surfing those stores, I wish I had all the money in the world! Haha, sadly I don’t, but thankfully there is My Voucher Codes, who offer a lot of amazing voucher codes for fashion stores. Right now you can get 20% Off Selected Summer Styles or a Free Gift for New Customers at Boden, and 20% Off First Orders when Opening a Credit Account at Very. If you are a bargain hunter like me, always remember to look for voucher codes before buying, you might end up saving a lot :)!
I revealed in this post that I am in a shopping ban, but that I have made one purchase – and now it’s time to show it to you. I can’t seem to shake this illness off, but thankfully I had prepared for this post a while ago, and had the photos ready :).
But let me tell you something first.. I was always a tomboy as a kid, and a teen, and a young adult, and a not so young adult.. haha. Basically I’ve only started to embrace all things girly during the past few years, and lately I have been dying to get my hands on a tulle skirt – which is basically the last thing that the young me would have worn ;). I spotted Cassiefairy on Twitter, I guess someone re-tweeted her or something, and I decided to contact her and ask if she makes custom made tulle skirts. She answered yes, which made me totally happy! I explained to her what kind of a skirt I wanted, she was really helpful with answering questions about fabrics and colours, and about a week later I got my skirt. I absolutely love it, and I am already planning to get another one – different colour and slightly different shape though – this girl needs more tutus :)!
I’m sure that you will see a more girly look for this skirt at some later point, but for this outfit I decided to ‘punk’ it up a bit with biker boots and jacket, and with my spikey pearl necklace.
The skirt is super cute, isn’t it? I can’t wait to show you a different look with it! If you are interested in one as well, Cassiefairy’s prices for custom made skirts like this are about £45-£60, all depending on the amount of fabric you want. BUT since she is so awesome, she has promised my readers 15% off if you quote my blog when emailing her. And yes, she does ship worldwide too, woohoo!
