If you follow my Twitter or Instagram, I’m sure you know that Curvy Kate is definitely one of my favourite lingerie brands. I met the Curvy Kate marketing girls for drinks a few weeks ago, and I asked if I could pop by their office and try some new styles on and tell my readers about them. Since Hannah & Himare are super lovely, they said yes, and I went for a visit this morning :).

Unfortunately they didn’t have my sizes in all the styles I wanted to try at their warehouse, but I did see (and try) a lot of loveliness that goes in to my wishlist! Below a lot of photos of pretty bras, and some boobs as well ;).

Jos seuraat mua Twitterissä tai Instagramissa, niin sulle tuskin on yllätys, että Curvy Kate on ehdottomasti yksi lemppari alusvaate-merkkini. Tapasin Curvy Katen markkinointitytöt drinkkejen parissa jokunen viikko sitten, ja kysyin voisinko mennä käymään heidän toimistollaan ja kokeilla uusia malleja, ja tietysti tehdä siitä postaus. Koska Hannah ja Himare ovat super kivoja, niin tietysti he sanoivat kyllä, ja kävin siellä tänä aamuna :).

Valitettavasti heillä ei ollut varastossa kokoani kaikissa malleissa joita halusin kokeilla, mutta näin (ja kokeilin) paljon ihanuuksia jotka päätyivät toivelistalleni! Alla paljon kuvia näteistä alusvaatteista, ja parit rintsikat ihan mulla päälläkin ;).

Dare in size 38HH, which was too tight in the band, but unfortunately this style doesn’t come in backs over 38. The embroidery is gorgeous though, and I love the colour. (Bra & knickers at Figleaves) // Dare koossa 85HH, joka on liian kireä ympärykseltään, mutta sitä ei valitettavasti tehdä suurempana. Rakastan tuota väriä ja kirjailua kyllä!

Do you remember the preview post I did on IGIGI‘s Discovering Fall 13-collection? (If not, it is here.) There is so much gorgeousness in that collection, and I was excited when they asked if I’d want to have a few pieces. I chose Veronetta Cardigan in Onyx and Shura Draped Skirt in Black, and I wasn’t disappointed. The cardigan feels so luxurious, and the skirt is possibly the comfiest thing I’ve ever worn! I know that IGIGI is usually more glam than casual brand, but I can’t wait to wear the cardigan with jeans, and the skirt with a sweater, just to make casual outfits a bit more flashy :). In this post I wore them with pleather crop top, striped shirt and platform ankle boots – what do you think?

Muistatteko postaukseni IGIGI:n Discoverin Fall 2013-mallistosta? (Jos ette, niin se löytyy täältä.) Mallistossa on vaikka kuinka paljon ihanuuksia, joten olin erityisen innoissani, kun IGIGI:n edustaja kysyi haluaisinko itselleni pari vaatetta. Valitsin Veronetta villatakin ja Shura hameen, ja en kyllä ollut valintoihini pettynyt. Villatakki tuntuu tosi luksusmaiselta, ja hame on ehkä mukavin vaate joka päälläni on ollut! Yleensä IGIGI on tunnettu enemmän glamourista kuin perusvaatteista, mutta en malta odottaa, että käytän villatakkia farkkujen kanssa, ja hametta college-paidan kanssa.. ihan vaan tehdäkseni arkisista asuista hiukan näyttävämpiä :). Tässä postauksessa yhdistin ne tekonahkaiseen ‘napapaitaan’, raidalliseen kauluspaitaan ja korollisiin nilkkasaappaisiin – miltäpä näyttää?

It’s time for Fatshion Faceoff again! If you’re new to the blog, please see here what Fatshion Faceoff is about :). This week’s theme was chosen by Olivia, and she chose ‘Lazy Sunday’.

Luckily I have the perfect outfit for this theme! A while ago I was contacted by Zalando, and they gave me a giftcard to spend at their online store. I haven’t used Zalando before, and I was pleasantly surprised. I found really great bargains, and I did have some problems choosing what to buy! They have some plus-size brands that I hadn’t even heard before, and really nice shoe and accessory collection too, they are definitely worth a look :).

Like I said, I had some problems with what to choose, but I finally made the decision based on the fact that these all I can wear as an outfit together without having to add stuff in from my existing wardrobe (except I had to add a long, black vest top after all). So, I got Junarose jersey trousers and a sweater, Oasis knit scarf and a pair of Converse. I can’t believe how happy I was when I saw the Converse were only £30! My old pair was from 2008, and I desperately needed a new one :). And I do like the outfit as a whole, it’s very comfy and relaxed, but still cute. Perfect for a lazy Sunday, right?

Nyt olis jälleen Fatshion Faceoffin aika. Jos et ole vielä tietoinen tästä ‘projektista’ jota teen 4 muun plussa-bloggaajan kanssa, niin lisätietoa (englanniksi) löytyy täältä. Tämän viikon teemaksi Olivia valitsi ‘Laiskan sunnuntain’.

Onneksi mulla on täydellinen asu tähän teemaan! Jokin aika sitten minuun otettiin yhteyttä Zalandolta, ja sain heiltä lahjakortin käytettäväksi heidän nettikaupassaan. (Huom! Vaikka itse asioinkin UK-kaupassa, niin suomen kielisen tekstin linkit yllä vievät FI-kauppaan.) En ole aiemmin tehnyt ostoksia Zalandolla, ja olin positiivisesti yllättynyt. Tein loistavia löytöjä alesta, ja mulla oli vaikeuksia valita mihin rahani laitan! Zalando myy monia plussa-merkkejä joista en ollut aiemmin kuullutkaan, ja heillä on myös iso kokoelma kenkiä ja asusteita, todellakin kannattaa käydä kurkkaamassa Zalandon tarjonta :).

Niinkuin sanoin, mulla oli vaikeuksia mitä valita, joten lopulta tein päätöksen sillä perusteella, että näitä tuotteita pystyn käyttämään asuna ilman, että pitää lisätä mitään vaatekaapista (paitsi tämä musta, pitkä toppi sitten lopulta piti lisätä kuitenkin). Päädyin sitten valitsemaan Junarosen trikoohousut ja college-paidan, Oasisksen kaulaliinan ja Conversen tennarit. Asusta tuli ihanan rento ja mukava, mutta silti myös söpö. Täydellistä laiskaan sunnuntaihin, eikö?

It has gotten chilly this week, so what better time to show you my new faux fur coat from Simply Be. I look like a yeti in it, but I love it :D! I teamed it up with an ASOS Curve peplum top with paisley print back (only £8 on sale!), velvet leggings from New Look Inspire, fringed boots from Evans, orange satchel and orange lippy. The outfit is quite chic and girly, even with all the fur. Or what do you think? Are you loving faux fur this autumn?

Ilma on viilentynyt täällä Lontoossakin viimeisen viikon aikana, joten on loistava ajoitus näyttää teille tämä mun uusi tekoturkis-takki! Mä näytän tässä ihan joltain lumimieheltä, mutta ei sillä niin väliä – takki on ihana joka tapauksessa :D! Yhdistin takkiin peplum paidan ASOS Curvelta, jossa on kuvioitu selkä (on muuten alessa vaan 8 puntaa, linkki kuvien alla jos kiinnostaa!), sametti-leggingsit New Look Inspireltä, Evansin ‘hapsu’saappaat, oranssin laukun ja oranssit huulet. Tämä on mun yleiseen pukeutumiseen aika tyttömäinen ja ‘chic’, mutta vaihtelu virkistää :)! Mitäs te olette mieltä? Kiinnostaako tekoturkis tänä syksynä?

I’m sure most of you know that last weekend was the weekend of Plus London 3. I had Mimmi staying with me for the weekend, and since neither of us was feeling too well (damn flu), we didn’t go to the event for the whole day. When we got to Shoreditch we had lunch with Mouna and her hubby, and then went to the venue. Even though we weren’t there for the whole day, from what we could see, it was all lovely, and the organisers Claire, Isha, Kirsty, Lauren and Michelle did an amazing job! I had a great time chatting with old and new blogger friends, and it was lovely to see the girls from Curvy Kate and Simply Be again :).

And of course Mimmi and I had to take outfit photos when we were walking to the venue. Shoreditch is an area with lots of lovely street art, and there’s endless amazing backgrounds for photos! By the way, this top and skirt were my fave ASOS sale bargains. The t-shirt is from the ASOS main range (sadly sold out) and it was £8, and this kilt-type skirt is just awesome, and it’s still available here in all Curve sizes for only £8.50!

Viime viikonloppuna Mimmi oli täällä kylässä, ja shoppauksen ja asukuvamaratonien välissä me käytiin myös Plus London 3 -tapahtumassa. Tavattiin ensin Mouna ja hänen miehensä ja käytiin lounaalla The Dinerissä (josta Mimmi postasi). Tämän jälkeen sitten mentiin iltapäiväksi itse tapahtumaan. Oli kiva nähdä bloggaajakavereita, ja tehdä myös uusia tuttavuuksia. Ja tykkään aina vähän turista Curvy Katen ja Simply Ben tyttöjen kanssa – ihania tyyppejä :)!

Tapahtuma oli Shoreditchissä, joka on Lontoon ‘hipster-aluetta’. Seiniltä löytyy paljon makeita graffiteja ja maalauksia, joten tietysti otettiin Mimmin kanssa asukuvat matkalla tapahtumaan. Mun asusta löytyi aiemmin sillä viikolla ostaneeni ale-löydöt ASOSilta, t-paita maksoi vaan 8 puntaa (on jo loppuunmyyty), mutta ihanaa kilttimäistä hametta löytyy täältä vielä kaikissa Curve-koissa.. ja hinta on huimat 8,50 puntaa!!!

As you probably know, I’m one of the blogger ambassadors for the Danish brand Junarose (more in this post), and as a part of that I get to pick a few items from them every month. This month I decided to go for basics, as I didn’t own a basic black cardigan before. Pretty crazy, huh?! So besides the cardi I took black jeggings (so comfy, and now on sale!) and this cute, flowery top. Unfortunately the top was a bit too short for me to wear with these jeggings, so I wore a black peplum top underneath it. And I kinda like the girly effect it gives to the outfit, especially since I wore the outfit with boyish brogues.

Niinkuin varmaan jo tiedätte, olen yksi tanskalaisen Junarosen bloggeri-lähettiläistä (lisätietoa englanniksi tässä postauksessa), ja osana tätä ohjelmaa saan joka kuukausi valita pari tuotetta heiltä. Tässä kuussa päätin valita ‘peruspilareita’ vaatekaappiini, sillä voitteko uskoa, mulla ei ollut perus mustaa villatakkia ennen tätä?! Villatakin lisäksi otin mustat jeggingsit (tosi mukavat päällä, ja nyt alessa!), ja tämän kivan kukkapaidan. Paita oli valitettavasti mulle hiukan liian lyhyt yhdistettäväksi näihin jeggingseihin, joten puin sen alle mustan peplum-paidan. Tykkään tyttömäisestä efektistä jonka se loi, varsinkin kun yhdistin asuun poikamaiset kengät.

I was sent a surprise by the lovely people at Lane Bryant earlier this week. They sent me a tee and a tote bag from the upcoming capsule collection that Isabel & Ruben Todelo have designed for the brand. You will see the bag in an outfit post later, but I decided to share the love and do a giveaway with the t-shirt. The tee is US size 22/24, which is around 26 in UK sizes, but would look cool oversized too. Please enter by filling in the Rafflecopter at the bottom of this post. Leaving a comment telling me what you’d wear with the tee is the only mandatory bit, but you can get more entries from social medias too. Oh, and the giveaway is open worldwide :).

The shirt has an asymmetrical hem and a necklace print with some studs and diamantes. The retail price for the tee will be $60. Below are photos of Beck of The Manfattan Project and Marcy of The Marcy Minute looking fabulous in the tee so you see how it looks on gorgeous women like you. Tämän viikon alkupuolella sain postissa yllärin Lane Bryantilta. Sain heiltä t-paidan ja laukun heidän tulevasta mallistostaan, joka on Isabel & Ruben Toledon suunnittelema. Kyseessä on merkin ensimmäinen designer-yhteistyömallisto. Laukun tulette näkemään tulevaisuudessa asupostauksessa, mutta ajattelin ‘jakaa rakkautta’, ja antaa teille mahdollisuuden voittaa t-paita itsellenne. Paita on USA kokoa 22/24, joka on EU koossa 54/56, mutta Lane Bryantin koot ovat vähän pieniä, eli sanoisin sen olevan enemmänkin 52/54. Mutta vaikka olisit vähän tuota pienempi, niin kannattaa osallistua, paita näyttää varmasti hyvältä reilunakin. Osallistua voit täyttämällä alla olevan Rafflecopterin. Ainoa pakollinen osa on jättää mulle blogikommentti jossa kerrot millaiseen asuun yhdistäisit tämän paidan, mutta siellä on tapoja joista saada lisäpisteitäkin :).
