Hello my lovelies,

First of all, thank you for your lovely feedback on my last post and my situation. It means the world to me that you guys support me and have my back <3.

So how better to celebrate than with a festive outfit! The fauxfur coat is from Yours Clothing, and it feels so luxurious, and the fit is great too. I got the peplum top from Pink Clove, and it’s perfect for the party season. The fit is perfect, and the baroque pattern in the gold is lovely. The clutch and the bracelets are amazing goodies I have gotten from blogger events this autumn. The clutch is from Just Fab, and the bracelets are by Annie Haak (who I met at a blogger breakfast few weeks ago – really nice and talented lady). The IGIGI skirt you have already seen, but in these photos you can see it from the back too. It is such an amazing skirt! So yes, all in all this is one of my favourite outfits in a while, I think I should go to more parties ;).

PS1. Don’t forget to enter my giveaways: $75 gift voucher to IGIGI ends at midnight UK time tonight, and Pour Moi? bra+bottoms set of your choice ends in 2 days!

PS2. If you are planning to shop at Yours Clothing, don’t forget to use code ‘BLOGGER12′ for £10 off £20. Works internationally, more info in this post.

Heippa!

Eli joo, kokonaisuudessaan tää on yksi mun lemppariasuista vähään aikaan, pitäisi varmaan käydä enemmän juhlimassa ;).

PS1. Älä unohda osallistua 75 dollarin lahjakortti IGIGI:lle -arvontaan! Loppuu ensi yönä kahdelta Suomen aikaa.

PS2. Jos meinaat tehdä ostoksia Yours Clothingilla, älä unohda käyttää koodia ‘BLOGGER12′ jolla saat 10 puntaa pois 20 punnasta. Toimii siis myös Suomeen, lisäinfoa tässä postauksessa.

Junarose: November #2 http://thewardrobechallenge.co.uk/2013/12/06/junarose-november-2/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=junarose-november-2 http://thewardrobechallenge.co.uk/2013/12/06/junarose-november-2/#comments Fri, 06 Dec 2013 13:38:52 +0000 http://thewardrobechallenge.co.uk/?p=2962 (Suomeksi kuvien alla)

Hello my lovelies, As you probably know, I’m one of the blogger ambassadors for the Danish brand Junarose (more about it in this post), and as a part of that I get to pick a few items from them every month. In November I went for a dress, t-shirt and jeans, and the dress you can see in my previous post. I went for the North high waisted skinny jeans in black/grey dip dye (yes, I do have a few North jeans already, but I just couldn’t resist this colourway) and Ramona t-shirt. I wore them with patent heels and a fringed kimono. The kimono has a pattern that resembles leopard print, so I think it looks kinda cool teamed with the t-shirt, or what do you think?

Kimono: 26/28, Evans | Top*: XXL, Junarose | Jeans*: 24, Junarose | Heels*: Fashion World | Glasses: SpecsPost | Lippy: Maybelline Color Sensational in Pleasure Me Red

Kimono: 54/56, Evans | T-paita*: XXL, Junarose | Farkut*: 52, Junarose | Korkkarit*: Fashion World | Rillit: SpecsPost | Huulipuna: Maybelline Color Sensational sävy Pleasure Me Red

Heippa!

Fashion World Shapewear Challenge http://thewardrobechallenge.co.uk/2013/12/01/fashion-world-shapewear-challenge/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=fashion-world-shapewear-challenge http://thewardrobechallenge.co.uk/2013/12/01/fashion-world-shapewear-challenge/#comments Sun, 01 Dec 2013 16:17:55 +0000 http://thewardrobechallenge.co.uk/?p=2947 (Tämä on yhteistyö Fashion Worldin kanssa, ja koska he eivät valitettavasti toimita Suomeen päätin jättää käännöksen tekemättä. Seuraava postaus tulee taas myös suomeksi.)

Hello my lovies,

A few weeks ago I was asked by Fashion World if I wanted to take part in their shapewear challenge. I haven’t really worn much shapewear, only highwaisted knickers really, so I was intrigued and replied yes.

They kindly let me choose a party dress and shoes, and with them they sent me 3 different pieces of shapewear. They also sent me scorecards for each item, and I was meant to take photos wearing my party dress with each item. So that is exactly what I did, and first I will show you the scorecard images and then the final party outfit.

First up is the MAGISCULPT Retro Underbust Bodyshaper* in size 26. I really love how it looks on the model, but unfortunately it didn’t work on me at all. It looks ok, and smooths my belly like it should, but the poppers in the crotch kept on opening all the time if I moved. I think I possibly should have sized up to get rid of this issue, but I feel that then it would have been too loose in my belly area. Maybe my back is just too long for this type of shapewear, as I did have the shoulder straps on maximum lenght too. So for that reason some of the scores are so low, never knowing when the poppers would open.

Next up is the MAGISCULPT High Waist Thigh Shaper* in size 26. I did really like the effect of this shapewear, and it felt really supportive on. Unfortunately that ended when my legs started. I got extra rolls in my thighs, because the shorts were so tight and my thighs are all squishy. And this type of shapewear doesn’t work with my chosen dress either, as the shorts showed fully in the slit part of the skirt. (Sadly it isn’t visible in the photos because I have black tights on.) So those are the reasons for the low confidence score, I didn’t want them to show, and the extra rolls weren’t nice either.

Finally my favourite, MAGISCULPT Pack of 3 Control Briefs* (size 26) – and I have actually worn these before too, so happy to have a new stock ;)! These knickers almost come up to my boobs, and smooth my belly without being crazy tight. Definitely my choice of shapewear in the future too :)! Really amazing value for money too, as 3 pairs are only £24 – I wholeheartedly recommend!

But even though some of my scores were low, the final outfit turned out to be one of my favourites in a while! So yes, here’s my final party look, with that last type of shapewear underneath. I decided to accessorise with this lovely clutch I got from the goodie bag at Accessorize SS14 press day, and this most gorgeous nude lippy for my skintone. It’s from Finnish brand Lumene, who unfortunately aren’t stocked anywhere in the UK. (US readers can find Lumene at Walgreens and Drugstore.com for example.) Mimmi brought me this lipstick when she came to visit me last month, and I’m so happy to have found this perfect nude!

If the Hat Fits! http://thewardrobechallenge.co.uk/2013/06/01/if-the-hat-fits/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=if-the-hat-fits http://thewardrobechallenge.co.uk/2013/06/01/if-the-hat-fits/#comments Sat, 01 Jun 2013 10:44:06 +0000 http://thewardrobechallenge.co.uk/?p=2568 Hello my lovelies,

If you happened to read my recent post on what I’d wear to Royal Ascot, then you know that as a Finnish person in the UK, I still feel that I’m out of place when it comes to formal wear and hats and fascinators. I’m feeling very intrigued by it all though, and was excited to try the new hat finder tool at Fashion World – ‘If the Hat Fits’.

The tool asks you three questions: face shape, eye colour and the occasion you need it for, and then suggests a hat for you.

I chose round face, hazel eyes and a cocktail party, and I was intrigued to see what the tool would suggest to me. And I have to admit I was a bit surprised by the result :D! The tool gives you reasoning for its choice though, and they all make sense, so next time I’ll see a hat this shape, I will definitely give it a try!

The tool is really easy to use and I love the design :)! Now go on and have a try yourself - see what hat the tool would suggest to you!
