Hello my lovelies, As you probably know, I’m one of the blogger ambassadors for the Danish brand Junarose (more about it in this post), and as a part of that I get to pick a few items from them every month. In November I went for a dress, t-shirt and jeans, and the dress you can see in my previous post. I went for the North high waisted skinny jeans in black/grey dip dye (yes, I do have a few North jeans already, but I just couldn’t resist this colourway) and Ramona t-shirt. I wore them with patent heels and a fringed kimono. The kimono has a pattern that resembles leopard print, so I think it looks kinda cool teamed with the t-shirt, or what do you think?

Niinkuin varmaan jo tiedätte, olen yksi tanskalaisen Junarosen bloggeri-lähettiläistä (lisätietoa englanniksi tässä postauksessa), ja osana tätä ohjelmaa saan joka kuukausi valita pari tuotetta heiltä. Marraskuussa valitsin mekon, t-paidan ja farkut, ja mekon näette edellisessä postauksessani. And as you probably know, I’m one of the blogger ambassadors for the Danish brand Junarose (more about it in this post), and as a part of that I get to pick a few items from them every month. So I’m doing this post as a ‘double post’, both Fatshion Faceoff and the first one of my November Junarose posts :).

This month I chose a dress, top and jeans from Junarose, and in this outfit you will see the dress. It’s a basic black skater dress (on sale now!), and it’s really comfy and versatile – good choice from me definitely! I teamed it up with a blue blazer (also from Junarose), wetlook leggings, platform ankleboots, my amazing new bag from Just Fab, and obviously a statement ring – a golden big bow by ASOS Curve.

Nyt olis jälleen Fatshion Faceoffin aika. Jos et ole vielä tietoinen tästä ‘projektista’ jota teen 4 muun plussa-bloggaajan kanssa, niin lisätietoa (englanniksi) löytyy täältä. Tämän viikon teemaksi Mouna valitsi näyttävän sormuksen. Ja niinkuin varmaan jo tiedätte, olen yksi tanskalaisen Junarosen bloggeri-lähettiläistä (lisätietoa englanniksi tässä postauksessa), ja osana tätä ohjelmaa saan joka kuukausi valita pari tuotetta heiltä. Eli tämä on nyt sitten tällainen ‘tuplapostaus’, joka on sekä Fatshion Faceoff että ensimmäinen marraskuun Junarose-postauksista :).

Tässä kuussa valitsin Junaroselta mekon, t-paidan ja farkut, ja tässä asussa näkyy tuo mekko. Se on ihan perus skater-mallinen mekko (muuten nyt alessa!), ja mekko on ihanan mukava ja myös monikäyttöinen – loistava valinta meikäläiseltä! Yhdistin siihen sinisen bleiserin (myös Junaroselta), ‘wetlook’ leggingsit, korkonilkkurit, ihanan uuden laukkuni, ja tietysti myös sen näyttävän sormuksen – kultaisen rusetin ASOS Curvelta.

Do you remember the preview post I did on IGIGI‘s Discovering Fall 13-collection? (If not, it is here.) There is so much gorgeousness in that collection, and I was excited when they asked if I’d want to have a few pieces. I chose Veronetta Cardigan in Onyx and Shura Draped Skirt in Black, and I wasn’t disappointed. The cardigan feels so luxurious, and the skirt is possibly the comfiest thing I’ve ever worn! I know that IGIGI is usually more glam than casual brand, but I can’t wait to wear the cardigan with jeans, and the skirt with a sweater, just to make casual outfits a bit more flashy :). In this post I wore them with pleather crop top, striped shirt and platform ankle boots – what do you think?

Muistatteko postaukseni IGIGI:n Discoverin Fall 2013-mallistosta? (Jos ette, niin se löytyy täältä.) Mallistossa on vaikka kuinka paljon ihanuuksia, joten olin erityisen innoissani, kun IGIGI:n edustaja kysyi haluaisinko itselleni pari vaatetta. Valitsin Veronetta villatakin ja Shura hameen, ja en kyllä ollut valintoihini pettynyt. Villatakki tuntuu tosi luksusmaiselta, ja hame on ehkä mukavin vaate joka päälläni on ollut! Yleensä IGIGI on tunnettu enemmän glamourista kuin perusvaatteista, mutta en malta odottaa, että käytän villatakkia farkkujen kanssa, ja hametta college-paidan kanssa.. ihan vaan tehdäkseni arkisista asuista hiukan näyttävämpiä :). Tässä postauksessa yhdistin ne tekonahkaiseen ‘napapaitaan’, raidalliseen kauluspaitaan ja korollisiin nilkkasaappaisiin – miltäpä näyttää?

It’s time for Fatshion Faceoff again! If you’re new to the blog, please see here what Fatshion Faceoff is about :). This week’s theme was chosen by Olivia, and she chose ‘Lazy Sunday’.

Luckily I have the perfect outfit for this theme! A while ago I was contacted by Zalando, and they gave me a giftcard to spend at their online store. I haven’t used Zalando before, and I was pleasantly surprised. I found really great bargains, and I did have some problems choosing what to buy! They have some plus-size brands that I hadn’t even heard before, and really nice shoe and accessory collection too, they are definitely worth a look :).

Like I said, I had some problems with what to choose, but I finally made the decision based on the fact that these all I can wear as an outfit together without having to add stuff in from my existing wardrobe (except I had to add a long, black vest top after all). So, I got Junarose jersey trousers and a sweater, Oasis knit scarf and a pair of Converse. I can’t believe how happy I was when I saw the Converse were only £30! My old pair was from 2008, and I desperately needed a new one :). And I do like the outfit as a whole, it’s very comfy and relaxed, but still cute. Perfect for a lazy Sunday, right?

Onneksi mulla on täydellinen asu tähän teemaan! Jokin aika sitten minuun otettiin yhteyttä Zalandolta, ja sain heiltä lahjakortin käytettäväksi heidän nettikaupassaan. (Huom! Vaikka itse asioinkin UK-kaupassa, niin suomen kielisen tekstin linkit yllä vievät FI-kauppaan.) En ole aiemmin tehnyt ostoksia Zalandolla, ja olin positiivisesti yllättynyt. Tein loistavia löytöjä alesta, ja mulla oli vaikeuksia valita mihin rahani laitan! Zalando myy monia plussa-merkkejä joista en ollut aiemmin kuullutkaan, ja heillä on myös iso kokoelma kenkiä ja asusteita, todellakin kannattaa käydä kurkkaamassa Zalandon tarjonta :).

Niinkuin sanoin, mulla oli vaikeuksia mitä valita, joten lopulta tein päätöksen sillä perusteella, että näitä tuotteita pystyn käyttämään asuna ilman, että pitää lisätä mitään vaatekaapista (paitsi tämä musta, pitkä toppi sitten lopulta piti lisätä kuitenkin). Päädyin sitten valitsemaan Junarosen trikoohousut ja college-paidan, Oasisksen kaulaliinan ja Conversen tennarit. Asusta tuli ihanan rento ja mukava, mutta silti myös söpö. Täydellistä laiskaan sunnuntaihin, eikö?

So besides the cardi I took black jeggings (so comfy, and now on sale!) and this cute, flowery top. Unfortunately the top was a bit too short for me to wear with these jeggings, so I wore a black peplum top underneath it. And I kinda like the girly effect it gives to the outfit, especially since I wore the outfit with boyish brogues.

Villatakin lisäksi otin mustat jeggingsit (tosi mukavat päällä, ja nyt alessa!), ja tämän kivan kukkapaidan. Paita oli valitettavasti mulle hiukan liian lyhyt yhdistettäväksi näihin jeggingseihin, joten puin sen alle mustan peplum-paidan. Tykkään tyttömäisestä efektistä jonka se loi, varsinkin kun yhdistin asuun poikamaiset kengät.

Last week I went to Finland for a quick visit, just to relax and heal my shoulder while hanging out with mom. On the way to my home town I stopped in Helsinki and went to visit the Junarose showroom with Mimmi. I have posted about my visit to the London showroom before (see the post here), so I was very interested in seeing what styles they would have at the showroom in Helsinki. The lovely ladies who handle Junarose sales and PR in Finland showed us around and we got to see a lot of upcoming styles (which were indeed different than what I saw in London). They also kindly let us take a few photos, so here’s a little sneak peek to Junarose SS14.

Kävin viime viikolla pikaisella visiitillä Suomessa, tulin vaan rentoutumaan ja olkapäätäni hoivaamaan pariksi päiväksi – ja sehän on parasta äidin hoivissa. Kotimatkalla pysähdyin Helsingissä ja kävin tutustumassa Junarosen showroomiin Mimmin kanssa. Olen postannut aiemmin visiitistäni Lontoon showroomiin (lue postaus englanniksi täällä), ja olin utelias näkemään millaisia tuotteita olisi näytteillä Helsingissä. Junarosen myyntiä ja PR:ää hoitavat Heidi ja Anu näyttivät meille paikkoja, ja nähtiin paljon tulevia Junarose-ihanuuksia (jotka olivat eri tuotteita mitä näin Lontoossa). Saatiin myös lupa ottaa vähän kuvia, joten tässä olisi pieni vilkaisu Junarosen kevääseen.

Mimmi and I also took our outfit pics after we left the showroom, and she took these with her camera.. I’m definitely convinced that I need the same lens too, these photos turned out great (except for the foggy grayness, haha).

Like you saw in my previous post, I decided to show you my Junarose items in two posts. (And also the fact that I need to keep my typing in minimum.) I think these jeggings go really well with my floaty Live Unlimited top. I love all the bling on the ankles of the jeggings, but I still think this outfit looks casual enough to work (I wore this outfit to work on Monday). And in case you were wondering.. these jeggings are the same shape that I fell in love with in my first Junarose outfit (see it here). Best jeans ever!

Niinkuin näitte edellisessä postauksessani, päätin jakaa syyskuun Junarose-tuotteeni kahteen postaukseen. (Ja että mun täytyy pitää kirjoittaminen minimissä.) Mielestäni nämä jeggingsit toimii loistavasti mun Live Unlimited-paidan kanssa, ja vaikka nilkat on täynnä bling-blingiä, niin silti asu on tarpeeksi arkinen töihinkin (itseasiassa tämä asu oli päälläni töissä viime maanantaina). Ja jos satuitte huomaamaan, niin kyllä, nämä jeggingsit on samaa mallia kuin ne, joihin rakastuin ensimmäisessä Junarose-asussani. Parhaat farkut ikinä!

October hasn’t started too well for me. My neck/shoulder/right arm have been bothering me for a while, and now I got 2 weeks off work because of them. This means that I need to keep my typing minimal, so be ready for posts with less words..

So, the title of this post might be confusing since it’s October, but this is the first post of the Junarose items I got for September. (If you didn’t know, I am one of the blogger ambassadors for Junarose, more info about that and the brand here.)

I chose Walk long sleeved shirt and North high waisted skinny ankle jeans as my items this time, and my plan was to wear them together. However, the shirt didn’t fit me around my belly (very typical problem of mine) and I decided to do two outfits instead. Hope you won’t mind ;).

Mun lokakuu ei ole alkanut kovin hyvin.. Mun niska/hartia/oikea käsi ovat kaikki särkeneet aika lailla, hiirikäsi -ongelmia juu :/. Sain kaksi viikkoa sairaslomaa, ja mun tarvitsee pitää koneella olo minimissään. Eli tää tarkoittaa, että postaukset tulee olemaan hyvin kuva-painotteisia..

Tän postauksen otsikko on ehkä vähän harhaanjohtava, mutta vaikka onkin lokakuu, tämä on mun eka postaus Junarose-tuotteista jotka sain syyskuussa. (Jos et tiennyt, olen yksi Junarosen bloggeri-lähettiläistä, josta enemmän infoa tässä postauksessa.)

Tällä kertaa valitsin musta-valko raidallisen Walk-paidan ja mustat blingi-nilkkaiset North-jeggingsit. Ajatuksenani oli käyttää näitä yhdessä, mutta paita oli alaosastaan liian pieni mulle (kuten napitettavat paidat yleensä on), joten päätin tehdä kaksi asupostausta. Toivottavasti ei haittaa ;)

Sain London Fashion Weekendiin kaksi lippua, ja viime sunnuntaina menin sinne viettämään hauskaa iltapäivää ystäväni Ausran kanssa. Oli kiva katsella ympärilleen siellä, vaikka kaikki itse muoti ei olisi mulle mahtunut päälle (ja vaikka olisikin, niin eipä mulla olisi ollut varaakaan) – ja jopa saatiin kuvata tälläinen 360° video Canonin osastolla. Ihan ei olla vielä Matrixin tasolla tuossa touhussa ;).

I introduced you to Junarose a few posts ago, and told you about the fact that I was chosen as one of the brand ambassadors for the brand (see the post here). I was really excited to receive my first items, and these were the two items I got:

Combat longsleeved top & North dip dye highwaisted skinny jeans

Before receiving them I was a bit worried about that zip being at the back of the jeggings, but in the ones that I got it was on the side. I guess the images on the online shop are of samples and some details have changed after that – and in this case I’m so happy about that fact! So let me tell you.. THE JEGGINGS ARE AMAZING!!! I have relatively skinny ankles comparing to my hips/belly area, so I haven’t been able to find any skinny jeans that are actually SKINNY around my ankles too.. until now. And the fact that they are highwaisted make them fit me better and they feel so comfy too. These jeggings are seriously dreamy, and I will want this North-style in every colourway – on top of my wishlist are these new gorgeous ones (need to start saving now.. haha)!

The top unfortunately was too big for me on the shoulders/sleeves and a bit awkward around my hip area. But since this was the first time of trying Junarose for me, I’ll know in the future to get a smaller size in tops (my own size that is, as I sized up this time – silly me). I hope the outfit still works, even though the top looks a bit funny on me. I teamed up the pieces with nude accessories and bright lipstick, but black or bright accessories would definitely look great too. These jeggings really make me wait for colder weather and teaming them up with jumpers and blazers etc etc. You will definitely see these on the blog again ;)!
