First of all, thank you for your lovely feedback on my last post and my situation. It means the world to me that you guys support me and have my back <3.

So how better to celebrate than with a festive outfit! The fauxfur coat is from Yours Clothing, and it feels so luxurious, and the fit is great too. I got the peplum top from Pink Clove, and it’s perfect for the party season. The fit is perfect, and the baroque pattern in the gold is lovely. The clutch and the bracelets are amazing goodies I have gotten from blogger events this autumn. The clutch is from Just Fab, and the bracelets are by Annie Haak (who I met at a blogger breakfast few weeks ago – really nice and talented lady). The IGIGI skirt you have already seen, but in these photos you can see it from the back too. It is such an amazing skirt! So yes, all in all this is one of my favourite outfits in a while, I think I should go to more parties ;).

Ihan ensimmäiseksi halaun kiittää ihanista kommenteista joita sain edelliseen postaukseeni. Se merkitsee mulle tosi paljon, että tässä tilanteessani mulla on tukea. Kiitos <3.

Sitä oloa voikin nyt sitten juhlistaa tällä juhlavalla asulla! Tekoturkis-takki on Yours Clothingilta, ja se tuntuu ihanalta päällä – ihan luksusta. Pink Clove lähetti mulle tämän peplum-paidan ja se on ihan täydellinen tähän joulunalusaikaan. Se istuu tosi hyvin, ja kultainen barokki-printti tuo lisää luksusfiilistä. Clutch-laukku ja rannekorut ovat bloggeri-tapahtumien goodie bageistä tältä syksyltä. A few weeks ago I was asked by Fashion World if I wanted to take part in their shapewear challenge. I haven’t really worn much shapewear, only highwaisted knickers really, so I was intrigued and replied yes.

They kindly let me choose a party dress and shoes, and with them they sent me 3 different pieces of shapewear. They also sent me scorecards for each item, and I was meant to take photos wearing my party dress with each item. So that is exactly what I did, and first I will show you the scorecard images and then the final party outfit.

First up is the MAGISCULPT Retro Underbust Bodyshaper* in size 26. I really love how it looks on the model, but unfortunately it didn’t work on me at all. It looks ok, and smooths my belly like it should, but the poppers in the crotch kept on opening all the time if I moved. I think I possibly should have sized up to get rid of this issue, but I feel that then it would have been too loose in my belly area. Maybe my back is just too long for this type of shapewear, as I did have the shoulder straps on maximum lenght too. So for that reason some of the scores are so low, never knowing when the poppers would open.

Next up is the MAGISCULPT High Waist Thigh Shaper* in size 26. I did really like the effect of this shapewear, and it felt really supportive on. Unfortunately that ended when my legs started. I got extra rolls in my thighs, because the shorts were so tight and my thighs are all squishy. And this type of shapewear doesn’t work with my chosen dress either, as the shorts showed fully in the slit part of the skirt. (Sadly it isn’t visible in the photos because I have black tights on.) So those are the reasons for the low confidence score, I didn’t want them to show, and the extra rolls weren’t nice either.

Finally my favourite, MAGISCULPT Pack of 3 Control Briefs* (size 26) – and I have actually worn these before too, so happy to have a new stock ;)! These knickers almost come up to my boobs, and smooth my belly without being crazy tight. Definitely my choice of shapewear in the future too :)! Really amazing value for money too, as 3 pairs are only £24 – I wholeheartedly recommend!

But even though some of my scores were low, the final outfit turned out to be one of my favourites in a while! So yes, here’s my final party look, with that last type of shapewear underneath. I decided to accessorise with this lovely clutch I got from the goodie bag at Accessorize SS14 press day, and this most gorgeous nude lippy for my skintone. It’s from Finnish brand Lumene, who unfortunately aren’t stocked anywhere in the UK. (US readers can find Lumene at Walgreens and Drugstore.com for example.) Mimmi brought me this lipstick when she came to visit me last month, and I’m so happy to have found this perfect nude!

This is my final post on Plus North (see previous ones here and here), and it’s just a quick outfit post on what I wore for the Scarlett & Jo catwalk at the afterparty.

First time I saw this dress was in NYC when I went to the Evans A/W press day, and I fell in love with it. The dress is the same shape as this top, and I really love that shape on me (seen in this post). Thankfully the lovely Lucy from Scarlett & Jo remembered that I loved it, and scheduled me to model it at Plus North (and actually sent the dress to me last week as well – thank you). The catwalk itself was scary, but thankfully the other modelling bloggers were there with me and we got through it together :). I loved how they styled our hair and make-up, I wish I could do a bun like this myself!

Apua, eka asupostaus suomeksi, jännittää :D. Noh, eiköhän tää tästä.. Ihan ekaks haluan mainita, että niin paljon kuin pystyn, niin laitan asulinkkejä paikkoihin jotka toimittaa myös Suomeen/mainitsen suomalaiset koot. En tiedä ootteko jo nähneet mun edellisiä postauksia Plus North-tapahtumasta parin viikon takaa (jos ette, niin ne löytyy täältä ja täältä)? Tämä on asu joka oli päälläni, kun olin catwalk mallina Scarlett & Jo-merkille tapahtuman iltabileissä.

Näin tämän mekon eka kertaa New Yorkissa kesällä, kun vierailin Evansin syys-talvi malliston pressipäivillä. Mekko on samaa mallia kuin tämä paita, joten tiesin mallin sopivan hyvin kropalleni (jos kiinnostaa, niin vanha asupostaus kyseisen paidan aikaisemman version kanssa löytyy täältä). Lucy Scarlett & Jo:lta onneksi muisti, että rakastuin mekkoon New Yorkissa ja listasi mut malliksi sille (ja lähettikin mekon mulle omaksi viime viikolla – ihanaa)!

Catwalkilla oli pelottavaa, mutta onneksi me kaikki bloggeri-mallit oltiin samassa jamassa ja tuettiin toisiamme. Ja siis RAKASTAN miten meidän meikit ja hiukset laitettiin.. osaisinpa tehdä tuollaisen nutturan itse! Valitettavasti olen ihan toivoton hius- ja meikkiasioissa, haha ;).

I posted my Plus North: Day look a few days ago, and now it’s time for me to show you my evening look. I wore my shirt dress from ASOS Curve, that I had only worn once before (and as a casual look). I love this dress, it’s simple, but has gorgeous details. And since I had my hair and makeup done for the Scarlett & Jo -catwalk (more about that later), the whole outfit looked fab – so I have to send a huge THANK YOUUUU  to Team S&J for the super lovely hair and makeup look!

Here comes the last of my FFFW posts.. the outfit that I wore to the afterparty. Dani and I started the party in a pub near the afterparty venue, the pub was cosy and a bit weird too: they had Churchill’s speeches on speaker in the toilets :D! We enjoyed our pints of cider and then went to the afterparty. We stayed there for about 15 minutes, and came back to the pub, haha! We are such grannies, that we wanted to have our ciders and sit down and talk, instead of standing with our fancy cocktails and not hear a thing. Grannies for the win ;). Mouna, Olivia and their other halves joined us later and we ended up having a fun last evening in the city. (I miss you ladies!)

I wore this amazing prom dress from Scarlett & Jo, and I absolutely LOVE it. I felt so cute and girly, and I recommend this dress to everyone – the shape of it is perfect, I believe it would suit all bodyshapes.

My favourite event I attended at Full Figured Fashion Week was the Indie designers runway show. It was amazing to see the diversity in the industry, and funnily enough my favourites were Rue 114 and Live Unlimited – which were the most daring and most classic out of them all :)! Sadly my photos didn’t turn out very well, but please see Dani’s post for nice detailed photos.

I wore a gorgeous dress that I got from Marisota, I love the vibrant coral colour and the lace detailing, it is definitely one of my favourite dresses. I teamed it up with my nude/neon yellow heels from Lane Bryant and some gold jewellery.

After the runway Dani and I went for dinner and drinks with Lucy and Angela from Scarlett&Jo. It was lovely to chat with them and hear things about plus-size fashion from a brand’s point of view. That day was definitely my favourite day in NYC :).

Slowly but surely I will try to post about my NYC trip, it’s nice to take breaks from packing my wardrobe anyway ;). This time my post is about the White Cruise. I was excited by this event beforehand, but when I actually got to the boat I realised that I had kind of forgotten my seasickness and fear of heights. Who forgets that? Well I do it seems, haha. Despite that I did manage to have laughs with my ladies, and see amazing sunset views of Manhattan.

I love the Chrysler Building so much!

I didn’t own anything fully white before the trip, but I was lucky to get this gorgeous dress from Simply Be, and I loved it SO MUCH. It was hard having it for weeks before not being able to wear it yet! I did have a slight panic about my bra situation though (since strapless is not my friend, and I didn’t own a white bra), but the lovely ladies at Curvy Kate came to my rescue and sent me the beautiful Princess set in white – and it goes PERFECTLY with the dress. So I owe a huge thank you to both companies from sorting out my outfit for that evening <3!

So, what was the best part of the cruise for me then? Well, since Dani and I are huge dorks, we LOVED going to the photobooth and being totally silly.. and we ended up going there quite a few times :D.

Oh you can’t believe how much I miss that silly lady now!

The first Full Figured Fashion Week event that Dani and I attended was the Denim & Diamonds-party on Monday evening. It was great to finally meet bloggers who I had talked with online, like Olivia and Rebecca, and to see some great people again, like Mouna, Marie Denee and the always lovely Evans-ladies.

A while ago I was offered a chance to style a gorgeous Project D London for Simply Be tunic with 4 other bloggers, and of course I said yes! I love challenges and how different same items of clothing look on girls with different bodytypes and styles.

I wore mine to go out last Saturday, and I absolutely loved wearing it. I sized up 2 sizes to get the oversized look for this kaftan-style dress, and I’m happy with my decision to do that – it looks exactly like I wanted it to :). And hey, the print is my favourite city in the world – New York, so that makes me love it even more!

Once again it’s Wednesday, and I’m sure you know it’s Fatshion Faceoff time! If you’re new to the blog, please see here what Fatshion Faceoff is about :). This week’s theme is our 1st anniversary, so we are wearing outfits that we’d wear if we’d have a chance to go and party together (I hope someday we will!). I can’t believe we have done this challenge for a year – that means 52 posts! I have also gotten to know these ladies better and I love them all <3!

So, what would I wear then? I got this tulip dress from ASOS sale in December, but I haven’t worn it yet. I love the shape of it, I have never owned something like this before. I wore it with my leopard heels from Clarks, and my flowery headband from Forever 21.
