Hello my lovelies,
It’s time for Fatshion Faceoff again! If you’re new to the blog, please see here what Fatshion Faceoff is about :). This week’s theme was chosen by me, and she I chose ‘British Heritage’.
Maybe it’s weird that a Finnish person chooses British Heritage as a theme, but I do love tartan, tweed, earthy colours.. which are all included in the trend. So, I’m wearing this gorgeous coat which I was kindly gifted to me by Marisota after I fell in love with it at their AW13 press event. I teamed it up with this tartan skater skirt from Simply Be, which reminds me of kilts too – LOVE this! The last ‘British’ part are the Evans chelsea boots from last winter. So how did I do? Do you like my take on the trend?
Heippa!
Viimeinen brittiläinen osa asuani on Evansin chelsea-saappaat viime talvelta. Mitäs olette mieltä? Tykkäättekö miten pukeuduin tähän trendiin?

Hello my lovelies,
Have you ever ordered from Yours Clothing? Maybe you haven’t even heard of them? They are an UK based plus-size retailer, and they ship internationally. The list of countries and delivery prices can be seen here (and no bigger delivery costs than £10). So yes, you should definitely check them out if you haven’t already – and I have a great discount code to all new customers, UK or international. Use code ‘BLOGGER12‘ to get £10 off purchases of £20 or over.
Here’s an outfit that is definitely on my wishlist:
Heippa!
Olettekos koskaan tilanneet Yours Clothingilta?
]]>Hello my lovies,
October hasn’t started too well for me. My neck/shoulder/right arm have been bothering me for a while, and now I got 2 weeks off work because of them. This means that I need to keep my typing minimal, so be ready for posts with less words..
So, the title of this post might be confusing since it’s October, but this is the first post of the Junarose items I got for September. (If you didn’t know, I am one of the blogger ambassadors for Junarose, more info about that and the brand here.)
I chose Walk long sleeved shirt and North high waisted skinny ankle jeans as my items this time, and my plan was to wear them together. However, the shirt didn’t fit me around my belly (very typical problem of mine) and I decided to do two outfits instead. Hope you won’t mind ;).
ps. Check out this competition at Junarose-site. You could win a camera and some giftcards for Junarose, and you have until 9th Oct to enter!
Heippa,
ps. Tsekatkaa tämä kilpailu Junarosen sivuilla. Voit voittaa kameran ja Junarose-lahjakortteja, ja aikaa osallistua on ensi keskiviikkoon asti!
Autumn is officially here, time to start wearing boots and jackets/coats and knitwear. I was the one who was waiting for summer and didn’t want it to end, but dressing for autumn makes me excited :)!
My lovely friend Isha and I went to Evans Marble Arch for a Curvy Street Style event yesterday, and here’s the outfit that I wore. By the way I got these boots from Evans a few weeks ago, and I LOVE them so much. I bet they will be on my feet most of this autumn ;).
I’m here in sunny Finland, enjoying time with family and friend.. and also preparing busily for my dad’s 60th birthday party which is tomorrow. So from the middle of all this busy I’m bringing you the first of our Plus North Premier Sponsor Spotlights! I’m not sure if you know this already, but this year I’m a part of the Plus North Team, I’ve been designing all their marketing materials etc. I’m happy to be a part of the team, and can’t wait for the event in a 4 week’s time :).
Now when we are close to the event itself we are doing a series of spotlight posts of the premier sponsors, and the first one is Yours Clothing. Yours wasn’t a part of the event last year, so we are very excited to welcome them aboard this time! As a part of this spotlight we have been sent this cute dandelion print dress which we are all styling our own way. The dress is really comfy, and I LOVE the pockets – well we all love the pockets, am I right? I wore the dress to work one day last week, and liked the look with a chambray shirt and the hair bow :).
Now go and check out how the other Plus North team members styled their dresses :)

A while ago I was offered a chance to style a gorgeous Project D London for Simply Be tunic with 4 other bloggers, and of course I said yes! I love challenges and how different same items of clothing look on girls with different bodytypes and styles.
I wore mine to go out last Saturday, and I absolutely loved wearing it. I sized up 2 sizes to get the oversized look for this kaftan-style dress, and I’m happy with my decision to do that – it looks exactly like I wanted it to :). And hey, the print is my favourite city in the world – New York, so that makes me love it even more!
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see how the other girls styled this amazing tunic.. so let’s go see!

Once again it’s Wednesday, and I’m sure you know it’s Fatshion Faceoff time! If you’re new to the blog, please see here what Fatshion Faceoff is about :). This week’s theme was chosen by Mhairi, and she chose monochrome.
I love the monochrome trend, but my wardrobe is seriously lacking in this area, especially white. I chose to wear a black/white striped dress, a black crop top, black tights, patent heels and a long pearl necklace.
Ok then, time to go see how the other girls tackled monochrome!

How are you liking the spring so far? I’m weirded out by the hot this day, freezing the next -weather myself, but hopefully it will get solidly warmer soooooon :). I wore a lot of maxi dresses this week, like you saw if you follow me on Instagram, but I also wore this outfit. I got this old New Look Inspire tee from a charity shop last year, and I think it’s a cute retro tee. I could use some help from the California cupids myself, haha ;D
Once again it’s Wednesday, and I’m sure you know it’s Fatshion Faceoff time! If you’re new to the blog, please see here what Fatshion Faceoff is about :). This week’s theme was chosen by Mouna, and she chose a colourful blazer.
I’m sure you know that blazers are the new love of my life, I just can’t have enough of them! And this gorgeous floral one from bonprix definitely needs a new outing at the blog (already posted in here). I wore this outfit on Saturday, when I had a lovely afternoon shopping and having dinner with my flatmate.
That was my look for this week’s Fatshion Faceoff. Now go ahead and click to see how the other girls styled their blazers :)!

After a few week’s break, it is time for Double Vision again! In this challenge my amazing friend Dani and I are choosing a theme, item, movie character.. whatever we come up with basically, and style those our own way and post at the same time, more about the challenge here. This week’s theme was chosen by Dani, and she chose ‘Shorts’.
I’ve been wearing my two pairs of denim shorts A LOT this spring, the studded ones from ASOS Curve, and these light denim ones from New Look Inspire. I have also fallen in love with large, blingy statement necklaces, and I already mentioned in this post that I will be getting another one.. and this is the new one.
I also turned 35 this week, and this is another one of my ‘I don’t give a crap’ outfits.. I like dressing like teenagers, haha, even though that isn’t ‘suitable’ for women my age. Screw that!
Now let’s clickity to DIY Fatshion and see what kind of shorts Dani wore :)!
