She’s Got The Look

Danie and I hit some press days last Thursday and had a lovely day together. Fashion, drinks, snacks and giggles is always a great combination! I wore this bomber jacket from the new Look Magazine for Simply Be-collection, and it is a perfect addition to my ever-growing bomber collection. I really love the floral print with the neon accents, as monochrome and neon are still going strong in my book. I wore it with my pleated midi skirt from F&F, and a pair of Converse.

ps. How many of you are humming Roxette after reading my title? I apologise :D!

Viime viikon torstaina käytiin Danie:n kanssa parissa pressipäivässä, ja vietettiin oikein kiva päivä yhdessä. Muoti, drinksut, naposteltavat ja hihityskohtaukset on aina hyvä yhdistelmä! Pukeuduin tähän Simply Be:n bomberiin, joka on osa merkin uutta mallistoa, joka on tehty yhteistyössä Look-lehden kanssa (Britannian suosituin muotilehti). Mallisto ei valitettavasti ainakaan vielä ole EU-sivustolla, mutta voitte nähdä sen kokonaisuudessaan täällä. Bomber on täydellinen lisä alati kasvavaan bomber-kokoelmaani. Tykkään kukka-printistä ja sen neon-aksenteista, sillä edelleen musta-valkoinen neon lisillä on lempparini. Yhdistin takkiin midi-mittaisen vekkihameeni ja Converset, ja tietysti kummatkin musta-valkoiset ;).

ps. Kuinka monella soi nyt Roxette päässä otsikkoni takia? Olen pahoillani :D!

Daisies

I posted a Simply Be wishlist earlier this week, and mentioned that I *had to* use my account and get a few things. Well, this daisy dress was one of the items I got, and I absolutely love it. Yeah, I admit it could be a bit longer, but I still love it (I’m wearing denim shorts underneath it by the way, in case you were concerned for my modesty, haha). I really like the shape and print, and I plan on wearing it with shorts or leggings. The cropped Junarose-jacket looks great with the dress as well, funnily enough the colour of the daisies is almost the same creamy white as the jacket :).

Postasin Simply Be-toivelistan aiemmin tällä viikolla, ja mainitsin, että mun oli *pakko* käyttää Simply Be-tiliäni ja tilata pari tuotetta. Tämä päivänkakkara-mekko oli yksi näistä tuotteista. Se voisi olla pidempi, kyllä, mutta muuten tykkään kullä ihan hirveästi tästä! (Mulla on farkkushortsit tuolla alla, jos olit huolissasi mun siveydestä, haha.) Tykkään mekon mallista ja printistä, ja meinaan käyttää tätä juurikin shortsejen tai leggingsien kanssa jatkossa. Tämä lyhyt Junarose-takki näyttää tosi kivalta tän mekon kanssa, ja sattumalta mekon kukat ovat melkein samaa kermaista valkoista kuin takkikin :). Simply Be:n EU-sivusto ei valitettavasti ainakaan vielä myy tätä mekkoa, mutta Yoursilla on myös kiva harmaa päivänkakkara-mekko (jos tilaat Yoursilta, niin muistahan käyttää koodia BLOGGER12, jolla saat 10 puntaa pois yli 20 punnan ostoksista).

Sporty Pink

Like you might remember from my wishlist-post, I absolutely loved the latest Simply Be collection. They gave me a chance to choose my favourite, and they sent me the pretty, pink PVC skirt. I’m glad I sized up, as the skirt is still tight. So if you have a big belly like me, size up at least twice, as the sizing is pretty small and the skirt doesn’t have any stretch.

In this post I teamed the skirt up with a crop top from boohoo and a pair of Cons, but I will surely wear it more ladylike way too. Both the skirt and the top are something so fashion forward at the moment, and I’m incredibly happy to see retailers make plus-size clothes like this – no compromises!

Mä rakastuin totaalisesti Simply Be:n viimeisimpään mallistoon, kuten ehkä muistatte mun sanoneen toivelista-postauksessani. Sain heiltä mahdollisuuden valita lempparini, ja he lähettivät mulle tämän söpön, pinkin PVC-hameen. Onneksi otin pari kokoa isomman koon kuin yleensä, sillä hame on edelleen tiukka. Jos sulla on keskivartalo kuin minun, niin kannattaa ottaa pari kokoa isompi, sillä hame ei jousta ollenkaan.

Tässä postauksessa yhdistin hameen boohoo:n napapaitaan ja Consseihin, mutta aivan varmasti yhdistän sen myös ‘naisellisempaan’ asuun tulevaisuudessa. Sekä hame että paita ovat niin trendien hermoilla tällä hetkellä, ja se saa mut todella iloiseksi. On ihanaa, että nykypäivänä löytää plussa-vaatteita joissa ei ole tehty kompromisseja!

Junarose: January

Hello my lovelies,

As you probably know, I’m one of the blogger ambassadors for the Danish brand Junarose (more about it in this post), and as a part of that I get to pick a few items from them every month. In January I went for the stone washed Mono high waisted skinny jeans. These jeans are so amazing, I love the 80s-90s stone wash look of them! They look great on my legs I think, but sadly they are too small on the waist (should have just taken the bigger size, silly me). I wore them with black Converse, black floaty top and black faux fur coat. Because the coat and jeans are such attention grabbing, I only accessorised with red lippy. Simple, but nice look, right?

Heippa!

Niinkuin varmaan jo tiedätte, olen yksi tanskalaisen Junarosen bloggeri-lähettiläistä (lisätietoa englanniksi tässä postauksessa), ja osana tätä ohjelmaa saan joka kuukausi valita pari tuotetta heiltä. Tammikuussa valitsin kivipestyt Mono korkeavyötäröiset farkut. Tykkään näistä farkuista ihan sikana, tuo kasari-ysäri kivipesu todella vetoaa muhun! Nämä on jaloista just sopivan skinnyt mulle, mutta valitettavasti eivät kunnolla mahdu kiinni vyötäröstä (olis suorilla pitäny ottaa se isompi koko). Kokosin farkkujen ympärille seuraavan asun; Converset, musta ‘rönsyilevä’ paita ja musta tekoturkistakki. Ja koska takki ja farkut on tarpeeksi huomiota herättäviä, niin punainen huulipuna on ainoa asusteeni. Simppeli, mutta kiva asu, eikö?
