Yesterday was my birthday, and I had a great day filled with lovely wishes and little reminders about how lucky I am to have great friends and family. Even though I talk about how I love the summer or proper winter, I still think spring might be my favourite season. Not just because of my birthday, but seeing the nature more alive, all the bright green and the first flowers of the season. Cherry blossoms are my favourite, maybe because we don’t have them in Finland, and I had to add some photos of them in this post.
This outfit is one of my faves lately. I love the crazy print and the neon lime green with the subtle black and white tones. I also really like the peplum frilly bit at the back of the skirt, it adds to the playfulness of the outfit. And of course I had to add neon lipstick to finish the look ;).

Eilen oli mun synttärit, ja oli kyllä tosi kiva päivä. Sain paljon viestejä ja muistutuksia siitä, miten onnekas olen, kun elämässäni on niin ihania ihmisiä, sekä perhettä että ystäviä. Vaikka usein mainitsen miten paljon rakastan kesää, tai kunnon Suomen talvea, niin silti luulen, että kevät on lemppari-vuodenaikani. Ja eikä siis pelkästään synttärini takia, vaan on ihana nähdä kun luonto herää taas eloon vihreänä ja kauniina. Kirsikkapuiden kukat ovat ihan mun lempikukkia, ehkä siksi, kun Suomessa niitä ei näe. Piti siis lisätä niitä tähän postaukseen, terkkuja vaan sinne äidille, että nyt ne sitten todella kukkiikin kauniisti! (Äiti ja isä oli käymässä, ja äiti harmitteli kun ei nähty kunnon kukintoja.)
Tämä asu on ehdottomia lemppareitani viime aikoina. Tykkään miltä tuo takin kreisi printti ja neon limenvihreä näyttää rauhallisten mustien ja valkoisten sävyjen kanssa. Myös hameen takahelman hörhelö on kivan leikkisä yksityiskohta. Ja siis tietty huulipunankin piti olla neon-sävy tähän asuun ;).
