The Autumn has definitely come to London. It’s dark when I leave the house in the morning and it’s dark when I come back in the evening. I still like to wear colours, but seem to I go for darker shades automatically when I go through my wardrobe. Does that happen to you too in the Autumn/Winter times?

So if you follow me on Instagram you might have seen this outfit already. I usually don’t post the outfits that I Instagram first, BUT I loved this one so much that I had to. It’s somewhat different though, I wore more fab shoes in this one ;).
These shoes are like 3 years old and from Evans, and they are the comfiest platforms in the world. I absolutely love them, and I’m happy that I spotted them in my shoe ‘pile’, since I need to start wearing them more! I used this dress as a top, which works amazingly with this skirt.. the skirt doesn’t have a lining, so the dress kinda works as one. They both also have golden visible zippers at the back, which is a nice detail. I got this dress from H&M sale for £5, which is a complete steal! It’s on sale on the H&M website too, but it’s £12.99.. so go and have a rummage at your local H&M, you might find gems. The dress is also L (18-20), so it’s somewhat oversized. They have XL’s (22-24) left on the website though, which is amazing.
I also got these cool rings from Style369.com sale for £2. I’ve never had this kind of multi-finger rings, so I thought that with that price I can give it a try, and I really liked this!
I really love this trend as it combines rock and more girly looks. Have you worn leather and lace together?

Week has gone again and it’s Wednesday, which means… Fatshion Faceoff!! Fatshion Faceoff is a weekly challenge that I do with 5 other fatshion bloggers from around the world, in the challenge we choose a similar item of clothing and we all style it in our own way. This week’s challenge was chosen by Molly, and she striped skirt.
I love my striped skirts, especially the tight ones, can’t help it :D! Before taking pics for this post I had trouble to choose the skirt I wanted to wear. I have 6 striped skirts, and finally chose to wear this black and white one. This is another one of my more daring outfits, and the legs are out again, haha. Let’s just say that I’ve been feeling happy and more sexy lately :).

I’m writing this post in a Starbucks near our hotel in NYC. The pics were taken in London though.. since I thought I would have time to write this before this. My last few days in London were completely busy mess, so I didn’t have the time. So I had to take my laptop with me and schedule the post for Wednesday. Had to do this cos I’m SO EXCITED about Fatshion Faceoff this week. We have three new girls in our group, each one presenting different continent and have their own amazing styles. Dani of DIY Fatshion and I are very, very happy about them wanting to be a part of this challenge.. so yes, huge excitement this week :)!
This week’s item was chosen by Dani, and she chose… A leopard skirt! I bought one from New Look sale (it actually was in the same package than last week’s FF item, haha), and I have been wondering how to wear it. I added the oversized top that I bought from Avenue on my last NYC trip in November, crazy owl-earrings I got from Style369.com, a hat from New Look and awesome red lippy. The earrings are completely out of my comfort zone, but this is exactly what Dani and I wanted to start Fatsion Faceoff for, to try different stuff and push our comfort zones!
I like this look myself, and I wore it to work on Friday and got compliments.. especially for the earrings.. the things I was unsure about the most :D! The skirt is lovely, but actually I feel it’s too big for me :(. I love those tight bodycons, dunno why, and this skirt isn’t tight enough. It might shrink in the wash though.. first time I hope that it will happen :D
