Fatshion Faceoff: Red heels

Once again it’s Wednesday, and I’m sure you know it’s Fatshion Faceoff time! If you’re new to the blog, please see here what Fatshion Faceoff is about :). This week’s item was chosen by Dani, and she chose red heels.
I have posted these Yours Clothing heels a few times before, but they never get old to me. I love them and I love how they make my legs look :).
And talking about my legs and Yours Clothing.. they kindly sent me these Lycra Xceptionelle 40 denier 3D tights for a review, and let me tell you.. THEY ARE PERFECT. If you are a follower of this blog you know that I have always struggled with tights, and that so far my best find has been We Love Colors tights. But woohoo, these are way better! I had seen Caroline and Georgina reviewing these tights before I was sent mine, and I was really intrigued, but I still didn’t actually believe that the tights would fit me (as other YC tights I had tried before were waaaaaaaaaay too small for me even in the 30-32 size), and I was also wary because both Caroline and Georgina are hourglass figures and much smaller than me.
These tights are MAGIC though. I was sent my real size, 22-26, and I was sure they wouldn’t fit but they did, perfectly! They have been with me for 3 days now, one of them was the office Christmas party.. and if any state usually breaks tights is the drunken state.. but no. Tights are still holding together, and my thighs haven’t chafed at all. I don’t have anything bad to say about these tights, other than I will lose loads of money because I need to stock up on them! I wholeheartedly recommend these to any plussized girl who is struggling with tights (that’s most of us, eh? haha).
I know the news about the tights is quite exciting, but I assume that you want to see the outfit too though ;)? I wore the heels with lace shirt from Carmakoma and sparkly velvet skirt from New Look Inspire, and added my cutey bracelet for some extra sparkle.

I love this outfit! The skirt is perfectly festive for winter, and of course the red heels are great :) And thanks for the tights recommendation, too, I desperately need good tights.
I have that skirt, too! Isn’t it fabulous? And it was such a great bargain, too. I love how you’ve styled it. I personally wear Evans tights more than any other as they fit so well and never fall down on me. A size 2 fits perfectly- I’m about 5’6” and a size 18-20. I find it hard to find good plus size tights elsewhere but I’ll have to look in to these ones.

I love yoursclothing thights the quality isreally superior to other brands but the shipping to Belgium is often more than the thights itself so i only buy them if i have a big order :-)
