Hello my lovelies,

It’s time for the next one in our Plus North Premier Sponsor Spotlight series, and this time it’s Excite Clothing. They are a company based in Leeds and they bring affordable fashion to women in both plus and main range sizes.

For this post we were sent a gorgeous houndstooth midi skirt, which is a bargain at the site – only £12.99! I wore it to work one day last week, and I teamed it up with a fit and flare top and my trusty pair of Converse chucks :)

Hello my lovies,

Since I’ve been ill, I’ve FINALLY had time to start working on my backlog of posts. I can’t believe it has been 2 months since my trip to NYC, but I still have plenty of posts to do from that time. Well, in a way it’s nice for me to go back in time and think of the memories and laughter :).

This is an outfit that I wore for dinner with Dani. I was given this lovely denim dress from Curvissa, and I was meaning to wear it originally at the Denim & Diamonds Party. Unfortunately the dress was a bit too snug on me at the belly area, and I didn’t want to risk the poppers opening if I got tipsy, haha. But it worked nicely for the dinner, and I felt cute in it :)

Hello lovies,

The next one in our Plus North Premier Sponsor Spotlight series is Simply Be. They are absolutely one of my favourite retailers, they are amazing in bringing fast fashion trends to us plus-size ladies :). I’m excited to see them again at Plus North, and looking forward to their catwalk.

We were sent a western chambray dress for this post, and I have to apologise how I look in mine. These were taken on my travel day when I got home in Finland, and I had woken up before 5am.. so I look quite tragic. I promise you will see this dress in another post later, and I will try to make it better justice – as this is a supercute dress that deserves it :)!

Plus North Premier Sponsor Spotlight: Yours Clothing

Hello lovelies,

I’m here in sunny Finland, enjoying time with family and friend.. and also preparing busily for my dad’s 60th birthday party which is tomorrow. So from the middle of all this busy I’m bringing you the first of our Plus North Premier Sponsor Spotlights! I’m not sure if you know this already, but this year I’m a part of the Plus North Team, I’ve been designing all their marketing materials etc. I’m happy to be a part of the team, and can’t wait for the event in a 4 week’s time :).

Now when we are close to the event itself we are doing a series of spotlight posts of the premier sponsors, and the first one is Yours Clothing. Yours wasn’t a part of the event last year, so we are very excited to welcome them aboard this time! As a part of this spotlight we have been sent this cute dandelion print dress which we are all styling our own way. The dress is really comfy, and I LOVE the pockets – well we all love the pockets, am I right? I wore the dress to work one day last week, and liked the look with a chambray shirt and the hair bow :).
